Packages & Fees

Initial Consultation:  $150

Gap Year Solutions meets in person or by phone for a 1 hour exploratory conversation with the student and at least one parent.  We will get to know each other, review the student’s responses to our detailed Gap Year Questionnaire, answer questions about Gap Years, determine if the student is a good Gap Year candidate, and see whether Gap Year Solutions would be a good fit to help the student plan his or her Gap Year experience.

Gap Year Solutions Questionnaire

Gap Year Plan:  $1,100

Gap Year Solutions works collaboratively with the student and parents to outline a Gap Year plan consistent with the student’s interests and goals.  For this phase of work, Gap Year Solutions will vet 3-4 options to fit within the proposed plan and the family’s budget.  We will work with the family via phone calls, in person meetings, and emails, and conduct additional research and consultation with program educators and others as needed.  The Gap Year Plan requires students to complete a questionnaire about their experience at the end of the Gap Year.

Advanced Planning:  Hourly Rate

Following development of the student’s Gap Year Plan, we will be happy to work with the student and parents if they wish to consider more options, vet additional programs, and help finalize the full details of the student’s Gap Year.  Upon request, Gap Year Solutions will bill hourly for this work.  We will conduct regular check-ins with the student and family to ensure we are aligned on direction, progress and timing.

Fees for the Initial Consultation and the Gap Year Plan must be paid in full before we begin our research.  Since families are often eager for us to begin work, we have included a PayPal option above. Once work has begun, all fees are non-refundable.
